I would try to do a five day vegan diet. Cut out all flour, meat &amp; dairy from your diet for at least five days and eat tons of whole grains (kamut, quinoa, brown rice, oats), lots of veggies (especially asparragus, kale, beets, zucchinni, spinach), lots of fruits (especially cantaloupe, melon &amp; berries) and drink lots of water.

Like most people, you&#039;re probably focusing on what you DON&#039;T want to do or give up to lose weight (such as giving up the foods you like). Trying to do that is like trying to paddle upstream. Instead, ask yourself: &quot;what foods that are making me stay overweight can I dispense with?&quot;. Maybe it&#039;s your morning cereal &amp; orange juice, or the sugary granola bar you eat as a snack. These foods might be somewhat healthy, but they would still contribute to your body weight, and you probably don&#039;t even like them that much. Once you have weeded out unhealthy or fattening foods that you don&#039;t like, focus on reducing the foods you do like.

		<description>I want to change the way of eating I start good when I put my mind to it but some were down the line I give up and do not care about it any more.  It has been very hard for me to loose the weight.  Almost all of my doctors say I need the lapband surgery.  I have been through too many surgeries I do not want the lapband surgery.  I want to loose the weight but I do not want to leave behind the foods that I like.  Thank you for your tips.</description>

My breakfast has been consisting of: 1/2 whole grain BagelThin with 1 TBSP peanut butter, about 1/2 low fat cottage cheese and 1/2 banana or there is a new oatmeal out now that is Low Fat and High Fiber (10gms per pack!!). I do need to work on eating more fruits and veggies.
